Privacy Notice – End Users
- Introduction
1.1. This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) explains how PARKNIC collects, shares and uses personal information that is collected or received from you. You will also find information about how you can exercise your privacy rights. The terms “we”, “us” or “our” are each intended as reference to Parknic Limited.
1.2. We are committed to protecting the personal information of all visitors (including partners and customers who buy products from our partners via the Platform) who access our websites or services through any mobile application, platform or device (collectively, the “Services”).

1.4. Controller - Parknic Limited is the controller and responsible for your personal data and we will notify you from time to time of the identity of the controller changes.
1.5. Our website at www.parknic.co.uk allows you to place orders for picnic and food products with the suppliers appearing on our website, who are referred in this privacy notice as Partner Suppliers.

We collect the following personal information:
2.1 Information that you provide
We may ask you to provide personal information voluntarily.
For example: Registration information: When you create an account, sign-up or fill in forms on the Services, we collect information about you including your name, address, telephone number, email address and the password you create.
2.2 Transaction information: We collect information relating to your orders, including payment information (e.g. your debit and credit card number) using the secure services of our payment processors. Payment operations are outsourced to our payment processors and we do not store your credit card information in our systems. We also collect delivery details (e.g. your physical address) for the Partner Supplier to fulfil each Order.
2.3 Your marketing preferences: We collect information about your choices to receive marketing information.
2.4 Feedback: If you post messages and reviews of the Services or you contact us, for example with a question or comment, we will collect information about you including your name and the content of your query. If you contact our customer support teams we may record and keep a record of your conversation for quality and training purposes and to aid in the resolution of your queries.
2.5 Sensitive Information: We collect information that you provide when you contact us (for example when completing an order). This information may include sensitive personal information, such as health-related information (allergies or dietary requirements) or information about your religion (such as if you only eat halal food). However, there are some situations where you may provide this type of information, for example if you make a complaint and, in those circumstances, we will only be collecting it with your consent. This will be stated when an order is submitted.

3.3 Any regulatory or governmental body or agency, court or other third party where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary under applicable law or regulations (i) as a matter of applicable law or regulation, (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights, or (iii) to protect your vital interests or those of any other person.
3.4 A person who buys the business or shares of PARKNIC, and/or any new owners or re-organised PARKNIC entities and their agents and advisors in the event of a business restructuring, sale, purchase or joint venture affecting the PARKNIC business. In these circumstances we will always inform the relevant entities that they must only use your personal information for the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Notice.
3.5 We also share your personal information with our third party customer support teams, website and application support, and hosting providers, marketing service providers, market research companies, and payment processing providers which facilitate payment card transactions - any of these third parties may be inside or outside the United Kingdom.

We may transfer your personal information to countries outside the United Kingdom to other countries where PARKNIC or our service providers have operations. Some of the safeguards we rely on include, where appropriate, using the data protection authority approved standard contractual clauses with our suppliers. PARKNIC’s website servers are located in the United Kingdom.

In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. Where you have chosen a password which allows you to access certain parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We may also retain certain elements of your personal information for a period after you delete or deactivate your account for our legitimate operations such as record keeping and to comply with our legal obligations, and to perform our contract with the Supplier Partner. Whenever we retain your information we will do so in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
7.2. PARKNIC will retain your personal information where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to enable us to meet our legal, tax or accounting obligations).
7.3. If you object to us processing certain categories of your personal information (including in relation to receiving marketing communications from us), we will retain a record of your objection to the processing of your information so that we can continue to respect your wishes.
7.4. You acknowledge that the personal information we collect relating to Customers will be subject to a privacy notice available to our Customers and are collected in order for us provide and improve our Services and for the purposes set out in our Customer privacy policy.

Our Platform may, from time to time, contain links to and from third-party websites (for example, those of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates). You should be aware that PARKNIC is not responsible for these third-party websites which will be subject to their own privacy notices.

10.1. You have various rights in respect of the personal information of yours which PARKNIC processes:
10.1.1. PARKNIC provides you with the tools to access, review or update your personal information at any time through your account. If you wish to request deletion of your personal information, you can do so by contacting us using the contact details provided under the “Contact us” heading above in paragraph 1.3
10.1.2. You can object to processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict processing of your personal information or request that it be ported to a third party. Again, you can exercise these rights by contacting us using the contact details provided under the “Contact us” heading above in paragraph 1.3.
10.1.3. You have the right to opt-out of receiving marketing communications we send you at any time. You can exercise this right by following the instructions in the relevant communication.
10.1.4. Similarly, if we collect and process your personal information on the basis of your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
